A Bibliometric Analysis of Synchronous Computer-Mediated Communication in Language Learning Using VOSviewer and CitNetExplorer

چکیده
Synchronous computer-mediated communication in the online language classroom has gained growing attention wake of worldwide epidemic. Nevertheless, only a few researchers have studied it through bibliometric analyses. This study aimed to retrospect previous development and figure out role intercultural competence, social presence, corrective feedback synchronous communication-based learning. Both quantitative qualitative methods were employed analyze studies (n = 1292) by VOSviewer CitNetExplorer. The findings revealed prolific authors, sources, organizations, regions tables, which indicated that scholars this field mainly located USA China. With rising research tendency, several heated topics also presented with VOSviewer. signified all played an important learning they interdependent. Implications for future discussed.
